Helen Ross

Dyslexia Specialist

Consultant & Researcher, Expert SEN & Dyslexia Advisor

Chair & Trustee, Specialist Tutor & Advisor Supporting Families & Schools

I am a Special Educational Needs specialist and Dyslexia expert with experience working in both the independent and public education sectors.

My passion for supporting individuals and organisations within the education and SEN sectors has led me to work at both local and national levels.

I’m a former teacher/SENDCo and after spending over 10 years in school settings, I have now moved into freelance consultant, researcher and board member roles.

So why work with me? I’m Dyslexic myself so understand first-hand the importance of building positive educational environments. I continue to bring this authentic message into my work and strive to support families, schools and government to create an inclusive world.

The key to this message is getting in front of people and delivering insight to people that matter.

I have spoken on many guest panels and conferences including sharing insight at the All-Party Parliamentary Group in 2022 alongside having my work published in various peer-reviewed and guest publications. I am the person for you if you need a fresh perspective, someone to consult on methodologies, data analysis, or present project findings.
