Careers
Research Assistant/Associate (remote)
Multiple part-time positions in EdTech research
We seek skilled and enthusiastic researchers and consultants to join our network of ICEI-trained researchers to undertake EdTech evidence evaluations and mentorship. The researchers and consultants support the process of commissioned evaluations in alignment with the Centre’s frameworks and standards. The International Centre of EdTech Impact (WiKIT) operates globally and our researchers and consultants can be based anywhere but need to be able to work remotely and be flexible for meetings across various time zones.
Key Tasks:
o Performing evaluations of efficacy, effectiveness, innovation and ethics in K12 EdTech products
o Working with other researchers at the Center, and external, to calibrate scores and deliver final assessments to clients
o Searching, critically reviewing and succinctly summarising research literature to support the evaluation process
o Support other research team members across the WiKIT’s network on appropriate methodologies during evidence-gathering activities
o Contributing to the publication of the International Centre of EdTech Impact research digests, reports, newsletters and communication materials to clients

Internship programmes
We are committed to nurturing the next generation of EdTech scholars and are thrilled to offer internship opportunities to talented students. The duration of internships typically ranges from three to six months, tailored to accommodate students at various academic levels, including master's, PhD, and postgraduate levels.
During my own eye-opening internship at the Center, I've immersed myself in the fascinating world of EdTech and relevant research. Working alongside brilliant researchers has transformed my critical thinking and collaborative abilities.

Interns have the opportunity to engage in stimulating research projects alongside prominent EdTech organizations and investors. Graduate
students
We offer a free matchmaking service for EdTech companies focused on children's media and educational apps, connecting them with graduate students who specialize in child development and learning. If you're a graduate student able to commit 5-10 hours of your time and are interested in contributing to this initiative, apply here. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while supporting the creation of impactful educational technology for children.
Scholars
