Edtech Research, Learning Impact, Social Impact

With over 15 years of experience in education research and 7+ years of research leadership and management in the Education Sector in global contexts, I have significant expertise in EdTech programming and policy evaluation.

Throughout my research career spanning over a decade and a half, I have consistently demonstrated technical expertise within the education sector. As both a quantitative and qualitative social scientist and an applied psychologist, I take pride in maintaining methodological rigor in my research, which is focused on supporting the learning and development of underrepresented child populations and strengthening education systems impacted by sociopolitical and economic adversities. My expertise encompasses applying the cutting-edge technology and modeling to the entire spectrum of the research cycle, including the research design, measure development, data collection, management, analysis, and reporting for large-scale, complex program and policy evaluation studies. I also excel at identifying and effectively communicating evidence-based sustainable solutions through various forms of publications and media, tailored for various stakeholders including funders, governments, NGOs, think tanks, and scholars.

I also possess significant experience in providing strategic and intellectual leadership for complex multi-country initiatives, such as the Education Research in Conflict and Protracted Crisis (ERICC) Research Consortium. During my tenure as a Senior Researcher for ERICC, I successfully led a global consortium aimed at transforming education in seven conflict- and crisis-affected countries, including Bangladesh, Jordan, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, South Sudan, and Syria. This experience showcased my ability to set organizational agendas, offer strategic and intellectual leadership, monitor program delivery and effectiveness, cultivate strategic partnerships, and co-developing research themes and goals with policy and program stakeholders.
