Our partnership with GSoLEN

The International Centre for EdTech Impact is delighted to join forces with a global network of learning scientists.

The Global Science of Learning Education Network (GSoLEN) is a network of 800+ members that represent a broad  cross-section of international scientists, education leaders, practitioners, and policy experts from 60 countries around the world.

Kelly Shiohira, GSoLEN’s Director said:

Better and more equitable education outcomes can be achieved when we leverage what we know about how humans learn and integrate this knowledge into education policy and practice. GSoLEN is an influential network more than 850 strong of scientists, researchers, education practitioners, policy makers and funders dedicated to this ideal. Through this partnership, we look forward to contributing together with ICEI and EdTech developers to create more equitable, effective and science-based education options.

GSoLEN aims to maximise the worldwide benefits of science-based learning strategies and address systemic inequities in education. GSoLEN fosters a deep understanding of the Science of Learning (SoL) and its practical application. Originating from a need to address global learning challenges, GSoLEN brings together interdisciplinary experts to innovate and lead SoL in education, benefiting students worldwide. Natalia Kucirkova, the Centre Co-Director, said:

EdTech developers are increasingly realising that their products are stronger when underpinned by top-tier research. The International Centre for EdTech Impact has been supporting EdTech developers worldwide in collaborating with leading researchers. We are thrilled to join forces with GSoLEN, bringing even more expertise to EdTech developers and enabling researchers to amplify their impact.
