We joined UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition!

Just before the transition into 2025, the International Centre for EdTech Impact was officially welcomed as a member of the UNESCO Global Education Coalition. This marks a significant step in strengthening the Centre's collaboration with global partners committed to advancing digital education and creating meaningful learning opportunities worldwide.

This milestone positions ICEI among an esteemed network of organizations committed to fostering inclusive, equitable, and high-quality education worldwide, as part of the global effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4).

The coalition brings together a diverse range of stakeholders from public, private, and academic sectors to address the pressing challenges in education today. Over the past two years, we have collaborated with the GEC’s Digital Transformation Collaborative, a multi-stakeholder coalition dedicated to advancing holistic digital transformation in education systems and driving international efforts to deliver meaningful outcomes for all children.

There is a synergistic alignment between our Centre’s holistic approach to evidence through the 5Es framework of impact and the Coalition’s framework, as outlined in the Crosswalk document and demonstrated in our collaborative efforts in the field.

Professor Natalia Kucirkova, Director of ICEI, shared her thoughts on this achievement:

As a member of this coalition, ICEI will collaborate with other member organizations to lead on two projects in collaboration with the UNESCO Secretariat and support the Coalition’s mission to empower learners and educators around the globe.
